Cars and shop interiors
Visit Wadden describes the former collection with antique cars, motorcycles and historic shop interiors. These were different ways of looking at everyday objects: as a means of transport, as a workplace or as part of a shop.
More than vehicles
Bicycles, fashion, musical instruments and household goods also feature in the description. The collection thus had a broad nostalgic character. That old description of its contents must not be read as an overview of what is shown anywhere in Ballum today.
A clear distinction for visitors
The former location behind the bike hire business Fietsverhuur Nobel can cause confusion when you search. A listing of that address, or of another activity there, does not change the museum’s closed status. What became of the collection after the closure is not known.
Before you go
Permanently closed and no longer open to visitors. Going to the old address is no way of seeing the collection after all.
