Editorial team and working methods

Sources, facts and timeliness
With articles, we refer to the sources and the image credits. Factual information, interpretation and examples should be distinguishable from one another. Corrections and feedback
Found an error or missing context? In your message, include the article URL, the passage concerned and, if possible, a source. Substantive corrections should be visibly explained on the article concerned.

Photography, illustrations and rights
Images may consist of photography, drawings, charts or AI-generated illustrations and reconstructions. A reconstruction or mood image is not a documentary record of an event. The creator, origin, licence and any editing are stated in the image credits where applicable. An image published online is not automatically free to reuse; consult the licence of the individual work.
Advertising, sponsorship and partner links
Our principle is calm, relevant advertising that does not interrupt your reading. Commercial content should be recognisable as advertising or sponsorship. For partner links, we state when a fee may be received. Source links and commercial links are kept separate. Payment must not determine any editorial conclusion or ranking.
