Periods as a guide
The museum website describes displays on the Second World War, the resistance and later areas of deployment. Use this arrangement to see which period is being covered before you look at the individual objects.

Topics mentioned for the ground floor include deployments to Bosnia, Iraq, Afghanistan and Mali. The display thus gives you reason to explore differences between periods and tasks with the help of the museum’s explanations.
A space for remembrance
The Stiltekamer (Silence Room) described is dedicated to soldiers of the regiment who lost their lives. Give this room a moment of its own alongside the historical exhibitions. Looking at a collection and pausing to reflect on people can call for different kinds of attention.
Before you go
Before you set off, check the access conditions for the barracks site. Groups can make an appointment; the museum is closed on public holidays.
