Reconstructions in the Oertijdpark
The Oertijdpark (prehistoric park) described contains reconstructions, including a Stone Age house. A building like this is a means of explanation. Look at which choices are explained and what, according to the museum, the depiction is based on.
Boulders and the hunebed
The Keientuin (boulder garden) and hunebed D27 are other parts of the visitor route described. They let you shift your attention from a display to the stones themselves. Keep the museum’s explanations to hand so that you can recognise features.

Use Hunebedstraat 27 as the visiting address. The museum lists a different winter schedule and Monday opening during certain holidays and public holidays.
