The front house
The period rooms are one of the listed parts of the permanent display. Notice how furniture, everyday objects and clothing fit together, and read what picture of the period the museum wants to show with them.
The threshing floor and the barns
Carriages, brikken (four-wheeled carriages with several benches) and implements shift the focus to transport and farm work. Ask how the different vehicles were used; appearance alone does not always explain enough.
Made at home
Home crafts are also mentioned in the collection description. Smaller pieces like these deserve a look of their own alongside the large wagons. Material and finish make them tangible in a different way.

Seasonal opening from May to early October. Closed on Sundays; larger groups can visit by appointment outside the season.
