Steam on the third Saturday
On the monthly steam day, machines are started up, except in winter. Check the calendar and demonstration time; a museum being open does not mean every engine is running.
Before you go
The museum is closed in December, January and February; group bookings have minimum numbers. The visitors’ jetty makes access by boat possible.
