Works on paper
Nobilis describes a collection of fine-art prints and small-format prints. The centre thus focuses on an art form in which material, printing technique and edition size raise interesting questions for the viewer. Exhibitions show a selection from the collection, not a complete overview.
Keeping the printing block too
Alongside prints, the organisation mentions original blocks and plates from artists’ studios. Items like these can make the making process tangible: the print and the block or plate it comes from are different kinds of object. Access to a specific piece must be requested separately.
Library and consultation
An art library is also among the things described. For research on the collection, contact in advance is necessary, especially during the building period. The usual exhibition schedule will only apply again once the organisation actually reopens.
