Learning to follow the movement
In the Planetarium room, the sun, moon, earth and planets are presented in relation to one another. The guided explanation helps you understand which movement the model shows. Take your time over this before you try to make out the details.
From model to instrument
The museum also mentions historical astronomical instruments. This gives the question of how people look at the sky a different form. With an instrument, you can use the explanation to understand the act of measuring or observing.
Exploring more rooms
A wool-combing workshop, a screening room, digital manuscripts and the interactive exhibition De Ruimte (‘Space’) are among the things described. So the Planetarium room is the starting point, not necessarily the whole visit. Decide in advance how much time you want to spend on the other parts.
