A building in green surroundings
The museum is described as a long, narrow building in Museumpark Landgoed Oranjewoud, with the Prinsenwijk canal beneath the building. These surroundings can receive attention alongside the art. Notice how the route and the windows make your gaze alternate between inside and outside.
Calm between the galleries
An art visit does not have to begin with recognising movements. Compare colour, material or size and then read the explanation. A glance at the surroundings in between can help you look at the next work with fresh attention.
Before you go
