What was on display
Earlier descriptions mention a farmhouse with agricultural implements and an original layout. The objects mentioned include a seed fiddle, dung carts and a Terschelling farm wagon. What was on offer thus centred on work on the land and the tools that went with it.
A name you may still come across
The name Het Hooivak is also used for the children’s farm. Its own website reports that it has come to an end; older descriptions of the museum collection are therefore no confirmation that it is still accessible.
The collection after closure
It is not known whether the objects can be visited at another location. An old photograph, address listing or museum listing does not settle this in itself. For any new visit, go by an explicit, current announcement.
