From large-scale trains to Meccano
Trains, radios and Meccano broaden the technical story. Set an industrially manufactured object against a constructed model and pay attention to scale: this shows how technology is used, collected and reinterpreted.
A different kind of precision
The lace collection shows European bobbin lace, samplers and sewing implements. It calls for a different pace from the vehicles. First look at the pattern from a distance, then move closer for the threads, joins and small irregularities.
