Do not just set the oldest and newest motorcycles side by side. Also look at the tank shape, saddle, handlebars and mudguards on machines from similar periods; small design choices show how the make developed.
Accessories provide context
The collection includes many accessories directly connected with Indian. Such items show how a brand was used and recognised beyond the motorcycle itself, from equipment to presentation and maintenance.
Studio and workshop
There is also a studio and workshop on the site. If they can be seen during your appointment, look at the tools and parts: they put the gleaming motorcycles back into the work of building, repairing and adapting.
