The 1916 shop
Start with the counter, cupboards and product display of the little bakery shop. See how the space gives customer and shopkeeper each their own place, and which actions were needed before bread or cake left the shop.
Older traces in the house
A living room with a box bed, a painted door from 1722 and a village map from 1718 take the story further back. Compare the dated elements without assuming that everything was put in at the same time.
Upstairs and outside
Upstairs, fishing and carpentry tools are on show; downstairs there is a coffee and tea room with a terrace. Walks and a cake tasting (koekproeverij) are extras by appointment, not an automatic part of every visit.
