From wind to milling
During a guided tour, you can follow the transmission of power from outside to inside. See how a rotating movement reaches the millstones via shafts and wheels, as far as the miller demonstrates this safely.
The winding wheel
The research card mentions a new winding wheel (kruirad) from 2026. This part helps turn the cap or sails into the wind. Ask how it is operated and maintained; a working mill constantly demands technical work.
Flour from the shop
Mill flour and pancake mix link the installation and the end product. Read on the packaging which grain and which grind are stated, and ask whether the flour was processed at this mill before you assume so.
