What was on show
The former visitor route began with an introduction and led past familiar interiors. Shop, classroom and doctor’s room made different roles in village and household comparable, without having to represent a single historical moment.
Games as part of the visit
Traditional Dutch games and a proverbs puzzle were hands-on elements. They are included here only as a description of what used to be offered; with the closure, they are no longer activities that can be booked.
The closure takes precedence
The same website still shows an old Tuesday-afternoon line. The explicit closure notice due to the planned sale takes precedence: new bookings are not possible and no date for resumption has been given.
Before you go
The venue is closed. The year for ‘30 May’ is not explicit in the research card, but the current closure notice rules out a regular invitation to visit.
