The region has different wet landscapes and therefore different kinds of work. For each object or photograph, look for the environment in which it was used and watch for adaptations to soft ground or water.
Living by the water
The display covers how people lived in and around the Âlde Feanen. Look at storage, transport and protection against damp; everyday choices make clear how closely a household was bound to the landscape.
A museum with a Sunday rhythm
Regular walk-in visits are limited to Sunday afternoons in the summer season. On other days, only appointments or groups by arrangement are possible. So do not plan on the basis of general tourist opening times in the region.
