De Neeth: farmhouse kitchen and tools on Wednesday afternoons

Boerderijmuseum De Neeth preserves the kitchen, clothing, linen and tools of farming life between about 1850 and 1950.

Plan your visit ↗

Enamel in the kitchen

Pans and everyday items show cleaning, storage and cooking. Look at wear and repairs and ask which piece was used daily or only on special occasions.

Clothing and linen

Textiles show labour, status and care. Compare fabric thickness, seams and mended spots, and keep precise dating to the label.

Tools outside the house

Agricultural tools connect the household to yard and field. Find out which tool used hand, horse or later machine power.

Before you go

Individual visits only on Wednesday afternoons in July and August; groups April to mid-October on request. A guide's claim about reopening in 2027 conflicts with the museum's own site.
