At an accessible building, look at how work and living were each given their place. What connection do you see between a room and the objects in it? The explanation helps you understand the presentation without having to invent an everyday scene yourself.
Objects in their setting
Farm wagons, textiles, regional costume and toys belong to the collection. An object takes on a different meaning when you see it alongside a building or workplace. Choose one everyday object and ask what action it was used for.
The season changes the visit
In the low season, the park is a walking destination with the historic buildings closed and no tram running. That is a fundamentally different offer than the summer or winter programme. So choose your date based on what you want to experience, not only on the park’s opening.
Before you go
From 26 October to 4 December 2026, the historic buildings are closed and the tram does not run.
