The archaeological collection offers a different starting point than the presentations on local craftsmanship or the Second World War. That very variety makes it possible to get to know a region through several subjects, without expecting one fixed route through history.
Local stories and art
Jan van Schaffelaar is among the subjects through which the museum presents Barneveld. Regional art and temporary exhibitions broaden that perspective. Check the programme in advance if you are coming for a particular artist or exhibition.
In the heart of Barneveld
The visiting address is on the Brouwerstraat. On weekdays, opening starts earlier than on Saturday; on Monday and Sunday the museum is closed. Public holidays have their own closure list, so an ordinary weekly plan is not enough then.
