More than one club
The collection contains material relating to various Dutch and foreign clubs and Oranje (the Dutch national team). That gives room to look at club cultures side by side. A visit therefore need not be limited to your own favourite team or competition.
The small evidence of a match
Besides shirts and scarves there are tickets, magazines and photos. Such objects preserve different aspects of football: the stadium visit, the media coverage and the memory of players or matches. Ask what background is known about a chosen piece.
A personal appointment
The museum on Heuvelwijk has no free daily walk-in access. Make an appointment for the guided tour in advance, and ask at the same time about the route and parking options. Individual mentions of a preferred afternoon are no guarantee that you can visit then.
