The digital collection and online exhibitions focus on nursing and care. You can explore further from a topic that interests you, instead of following a fixed route through the galleries. That suits both a brief introduction and more focused reading.
History in context
The Canon van de Verpleegkunde (Nursing Canon) is one way in to placing topics in a wider context. Online exhibitions also give room to individual themes. With images and objects, pay attention to the captions, which help clarify their origin and meaning.
Sometimes off-screen too
The museum also organises activities such as pop-up exhibitions and talks in various places. Each of these has its own locations and times. An announcement of such an activity is therefore something different from a permanent visitor centre.
