An animal as a museum subject
The donkey is central to the collection and to the encounter on the grounds. That leaves room to ask different questions: what does the museum tell you about the animal, and what strikes you when you see a real donkey up close?
Contact under supervision
Options are mentioned for brushing donkeys or walking with them. Such activities take place under supervision and are not automatically part of every visit. Discuss in advance what is possible and suitable at your chosen time.
No fixed daily opening
The museum works by appointment; sometimes a sign or flag along the road indicates that visitors are welcome. For a specially planned trip, that is not enough certainty. Also ask for the correct house number, as different listings exist.
