Understanding a workshop
The tobacco-cutting workshop is described as a working part of the museum. Ask when explanation or a demonstration is possible, so that the machines do not remain just separate objects on display.
From shop to silver
Besides the shop, the collection includes Doesburg silver, work by Colenbrander and fire buckets. This variety lets you look at different kinds of use and design side by side.
The town in miniature
Models of the town and the pontoon bridge offer a spatial way in. They can help connect a museum visit with a walk, without confusing the model with the present-day town.
