Life below deck
A reconstructed forecastle brings the space on board to life. This is a reconstruction built to explain something, alongside the attention given to fishing techniques and the botters themselves.
Trying something yourself
Caulking is mentioned as a possible activity. Check in advance whether this is available; botter trips and group programmes also have their own scheduling alongside the museum visit.
Before you go
The announced regular 2026 season ended on 12 September. For later visits, ask about a group appointment and, if needed, discuss the lift mentioned.
