How sound is made
The basement display includes models and an organ workshop. Ask what demonstration is possible to help you understand how the parts work together; you do not need to be able to play the organ yourself for this.
Instruments and repertoire
Alongside playable organs, books and models are mentioned. These broaden the subject from sound to building, notation and performance, depending on the current display.
Film in the hall
The Gert Boon Hall and a film about organ masters are part of the programme described. Ask at the entrance about screening times, so you can fit them into your visit.
Before you go
Check the closures on national public holidays. A trail is mentioned for children; ask on arrival whether it is available at that time.
