Radios, televisions and traditional costume are mentioned in the museum’s description. The combination brings together different parts of daily life; ask which presentation is available on the day of your visit.
Games and animals
Stilts, traditional Dutch games, a mouse house and animals are also mentioned. For a family visit, check which activities are actually open, especially outside the main season.
Via the footpath
A footpath connects the restaurant with the museum farmhouse. Plan the two parts separately, so that the restaurant being open is not mistaken for free access to the museum.
Before you go
Regular weekend opening is stated for the museum farmhouse. Check the museum address on Slaapdijk and do not simply use the restaurant’s longer hours.
