A map as a starting point
A map with locations from the surrounding area is mentioned as part of the display. It helps to root stories in specific places; ask which locations are explained in the presentation and how they relate to one another.
Objects with a story
Mobilisation is one of the themes mentioned. For individual objects, take time for the information that goes with them, so that the visit becomes more than recognising military or everyday items.
The tower itself too
The history of the water tower and drinking water is also covered. This gives the location its own subject alongside the exhibition about the war.
