Riding on a narrow track
The train ride lets you experience the scale, curves and layout of narrow-gauge track. Note the small locomotives and wagons and ask what work they carried out at the brick factory.
Clay becomes building material
The museum's explanation links the railway with digging, transporting and firing. Follow that chain step by step; this makes clear why light industrial track in particular was useful here.
A working volunteer museum
Rolling stock and track are maintained by volunteers and do not run daily. Special days have a fuller programme and different times than ordinary calendar days.
