The tour brings together the world of residents and staff. Compare material, daylight and walking routes in two rooms and ask who had access when.
Furnishing as coherence
Furniture and everyday objects stand in rooms with a clear function. Look first at the room as a whole and only then at individual highlights; this keeps the relationship between object and household visible.
Children on the trail
Scavenger hunts and a knapsack trail offer younger visitors concrete tasks. Choose one activity that also engages adults, rather than treating the children's programme as a separate route.
Before you go
April–October the house is open four days a week; in winter only on Sunday. Guided tour and free walk-through have different time slots.
