Living life up close
The hearth (heerd) and the box beds give the interior its own character. Look at where the furniture is placed and how functions come together within one room. North Veluwe traditional dress adds clothing as a second way into everyday life.
Further round the yard
Outside you will find a vegetable garden, an orchard and animals. These elements complement the objects indoors with a living setting. An interactive tour can give direction to your visit; there are also themed exhibitions that temporarily highlight other subjects.
The season determines the hours
Summer has a much fuller schedule than winter. In January the museum is closed, while school holidays sometimes bring extra days. Sundays, public holidays and individual closing days also deserve attention when planning.
