The house forms the start of a visit that is not only about farming. Look at how the rooms and objects fit into daily life. The stories about the residents give the farm a more personal face than a collection of separate tools.
A fixed start for the guided tour
Guided tours depart at fixed times. So make sure you know not only the closing time, but also when you can join in. There are also audio tours in various languages; ask which format suits your group.
Refreshments and group visits
Mariahoeve includes a refreshment room. Anyone coming with eight or more people, or wanting lunch, is best advised to arrange the visit in advance. Larger groups can ask about options outside the regular hours.
