Kitchen and clothing
A farmhouse kitchen, tins and farm clothing offer different ways of looking at the past. Pay attention to signs of use and to the information beside an object. Recognition can be a starting point, but it does not yet tell you how an object was used here.
Town and country
For 2026, ‘Stad en Platteland’ (Town and Country) is mentioned as the theme. There are also subjects around school and childhood, and the 1960s and 1970s. When planning, ask which presentations will be on show during your visit.
An appointment with exceptions
From May to mid-October the museum works in principle by appointment. In addition, the first and third Friday feature antiques, bric-a-brac and viewing. For those days too, it is wise to call in advance, so you know what is accessible.
Before you go
Call in advance about visiting options; the Friday openings do not form a daily weekly schedule.
