The bike up close
The racing bikes deserve a close look alongside the trophy cabinet. Look at the setup and the finish and read which moment each bike belongs to. This way it remains not just a technical object, but takes its place in the sporting story.
More than the result
Cups, medals and various race jerseys refer to achievements. The audio tour, recorded by Van Vleuten herself, offers an extra way in. Listen to how the commentary connects the objects to personal experiences, rather than looking only at the result.
A visit above the shop
The museum is on the first floor and follows Mastbergen's opening times. On weekdays there is a midday break in the shop's schedule. An appointment is preferred; discuss the accessibility of the floor straight away if that is relevant.
