Furniture, silver, porcelain and portraits form part of the interior. Look not only at individual pieces, but also at their place within the room. A guide can help you understand the connections between the furnishings, their use and the residents.
Further discoveries outside
De Bedriegertjes, the shell gallery, ponds and fountains give the park a different character from the interior. Take time for that outdoor part and choose suitable footwear and clothing. The Oranjerie offers a separate visiting option in season.
Different access times
The park, shop, Oranjerie and castle do not always follow the same hours. The castle largely works with guided tours; independent visits are stated for Sunday. Check the current GLK calendar, especially around events and outside the main season.
