The material and the making
In the Afbramerij at CIVON, themed display cases cover subjects such as bog iron ore, heat, moulding and casting. A model of a charcoal blast furnace adds to this. Together they offer starting points for asking about the successive steps in working with iron.
More than one building
The Loonbureau has an interactive presentation on DRU's history; DRU products are found in the Portiersgebouw. Decide in advance which parts you want to see. The different spaces have their own access arrangements and are not all equally accessible.
School days and appointments
Individual visits to CIVON are stated for Monday and Friday on school days. Groups can make other arrangements. So do not follow a single general museum schedule for the whole site, and check whether the display you want is actually available.

Check the opening times and accessibility for each building; the museum is not open as a single whole.
