Further outside
Old crops grow in the yard. That adds a seasonal element to the visit: what you can see outside changes throughout the year. During a guided tour, ask how the yard connects with the presentation indoors.
Appointment and occupancy calendar
From mid-September up to and including May, guided tours are only possible by appointment. Even in summer, hire and events can change the opening. There is also a conflicting guidebook note about reopening in 2027; have your visit confirmed directly.
