Different ways of performing
The former collection included, among other things, hand puppets, marionettes, shadow figures, wayang and paper theatres. That broad subject showed that puppetry takes many forms. This list describes the former museum, not a current gallery display.
A collection in transition
After the closure, parts were offered for transfer. As a result, it is not automatically clear where individual pieces can now be found. Online library material can still offer information, but a digital listing does not mean the building is accessible.
Old opening times keep circulating
Some visitor guides still show afternoon hours and a request to book. These listings conflict with the closure information. Do not, therefore, go to Kerkweg 38 for a museum visit on the basis of such a schedule.

The physical museum is closed; old visiting hours and booking texts are not a current way to gain access.
