With more than your eyes
Touching is allowed with many statues, but not without exception. Follow the instructions on site and, if in doubt, ask what is permitted. When touching is possible, you can pay attention to surface and contour alongside what you perceive visually.
Continuing outdoors
The arboreta De Dreijen and Hinkeloord form an outdoor section with their own opening times. A walk there can complement the gallery, but the buildings are open fewer days than the gardens. Plan deliberately which parts you want to combine.
Access for different visitors
Het Depot states wheelchair accessibility and special guided tours for blind and partially sighted visitors. There are also family games and experience trails. Book a loan wheelchair or special guided tour in advance and check the winter break.
Before you go
The gallery and the arboreta have different hours. Bear in mind the winter closure from 21 December 2026 up to and including 7 January 2027.
