The collection grew out of a family hobby. That gives room to different subjects alongside one another. Do not just look at individual objects, but also ask how they came into the collection and why they have been kept.
Comparing clothing and play
Traditional costume and old toys each offer a different way into daily life. With clothing, pay attention to finish and use; with toys, ask how they were played with. The crafts add the work that lay beyond that domestic sphere.
No precise daily schedule
From March up to and including October, the museum states that it is open almost every afternoon from half past one. That is no guarantee for a specific day, and a closing time is missing. In winter and for groups, an appointment is needed.

Call before you set off for the exact afternoon hours. The museum is not wheelchair accessible.
