Pay attention to space, light and the composition of a landscape or interior. The exhibition can help you see differences between works without viewing every early painting solely as preparation for later work.
Work in dialogue
Temporary exhibitions place other artists alongside Mondriaan. Ask which combination is currently on show and what idea the museum’s explanation gives for bringing the works together.
House and pavilion
The venue combines a domestic house setting with a pavilion. This gives the route different spaces, whose availability may change during exhibition changeovers.
