A ship as a lived-in space
Some of the ships are lived in. So respect the boundary between the public jetty and private space, even when a vessel is part of the museum harbour’s collection.
Shapes on the water
Look at differences in hull, superstructure and fitting-out from the accessible spots. During an open day, ask about the functions behind those differences, rather than drawing conclusions from appearance alone.
Extra explanation on open days
Demonstrations and stories are mentioned during special openings. Such a day can offer more than a visit on your own, but has its own programme and date.
