Trace a work back to the studio
The website mentions paintings, portraits, sculptures and drawings alongside studios and workrooms. Choose one work, then look for a material or tool that may belong to its making. Feel free to ask whether your connection is right; this museum can only be visited by appointment.
Photo and paint in one image
The work on show includes black-and-white photographs from the artist’s own shots, coloured in with oil paint. Look for where the photograph ends and the paint begins. Does that distinction stay visible everywhere, or do you only notice it through colour, sheen or brushstroke?
A workshop with two-wheelers
The workshop also houses a collection of mopeds and motorcycles from the 1950s and 1960s. Compare their lines and surfaces with a sculpture or painting in another room. Which shapes recur when you look at technology and art side by side?
