The exhibition on the Crosiers mentions a prior’s desk, a sleeping cell and a lectern niche (spreeknis) in the refectory, among other things. For each element, look at which activity is central. How does the arrangement help you understand that function?
A church within the whole
The Kanunnikenkerk (canons’ church) is part of the route described. Take a moment to notice the transition into this space. What questions does the difference from a sleeping or working room raise for you?
A collection in the rooms
