From building to story
The museum organisation describes the former station as its home. Look first at the exterior and the layout. Which parts do you recognise as a traveller, and which call for explanation? That makes an accessible start to a visit about rail and tram transport.
Objects with a job to do
The collection described includes original railway items, historical photographs and objects from the steam tram era. With each object, look for its function. A name is useful, but it is knowing who used it and what for that makes it truly understandable.
On a different scale
Model railways and the train simulator offer another way of looking at rail traffic. On a model railway, notice how track, points and buildings fit together. At the simulator, ask which part of driving a train you can try out with it.

Check the current admission prices and the weekend schedule. According to the museum, group visits outside regular hours are possible by appointment.
