The society focuses on Beek and the surrounding villages. Bring a specific question about a place, person or period and ask which material could help. That suits a heemkamer where collecting and research come together.
More than an exhibition route
Photos, prayer cards (bidprentjes), library work and restoration are among the society’s activities. Not everything is automatically on view as an open exhibition. Ask in advance what you can view or consult and whether someone can help you with it.
Tuesday morning rather than daily
The heemkamer has limited opening on Tuesday mornings. Listings of long daily museum hours do not match this. Confirm the entrance and access to the third floor, especially if you depend on a lift. Other appointments are arranged directly.
