Textiles and statues
Paraments and statues call for a different way of looking than metal vessels. Pay attention to material and imagery, and use the explanation to follow their place within the collection.
Choosing a guided tour
A guided visit may also include other parts of the church. Ask which route is offered and whether, for example, the atrium or burial vault is included; this does not automatically follow from access to the treasury.
Before you go
General opening is seasonal. Ask about stairs and access to the crypt and check the current days; the church being open does not guarantee that the treasury is always accessible.
