Watching a demonstration
Theme days determine which crafts are actively demonstrated. A regular opening does not guarantee that every section is staffed, so consult the calendar if you are coming for a specific technique.
Exploring with children
Children’s afternoons can offer a different route from looking around on your own. Check age, times and conditions of participation, and leave room to look at the buildings in between as well.
Before you go
The museum operates a season and is normally closed on Fridays and Saturdays. Groups and guides are booked in advance; discuss the accessible route and any assistance separately.
