Themes can range from fraud to burglary prevention. Ask which historical objects belong to the subject and which parts mainly provide current public information.
Object and archive document
A uniform or piece of equipment tells you about how the work was done, while files and photos can provide context. Look for where both kinds of source confirm or complement each other.
Guided tour by appointment
Volunteers tailor the visit to individuals or groups. Mention your interests and ages in advance, so that the chosen exhibition and explanation suit your party.
Before you go
There is no fixed walk-in schedule. Make an appointment at least 24 hours in advance, including for individual visits. The office hours often mentioned are not open museum hours; discuss accessibility directly.
