Pay attention to historical terms in documents and displays. Ask how the museum explains outdated language without unintentionally repeating it as a present-day diagnosis or judgement.
Treatment in context
Compare a historical treatment method with the explanation of care in its own period. Keep application, experience and later assessment side by side as separate questions.
Tailored guided tour
Schools, professional groups and general visitors can request a different emphasis. Indicate in advance which period or question should be central and what sensitivities are involved.
Before you go
By appointment only. From 1 April to 30 September, a guide is present on Wednesdays at 14.00 for a maximum of ten registered visitors, except on public holidays. Other requests at least a week in advance.
