Place names and people
Look for a specific street, neighbourhood or maker in the objects. Local history becomes clearer when a general theme is tied to a recognisable place in Venray.
Art as a local source
A painting or photo shows not only what something looked like, but also what the maker wanted to emphasise. Compare the choice of image with the accompanying historical information.
Always a different exhibition
The temporary programme may highlight an artist, event or cultural subject. Check in advance what is on and which activities have a separate start time.
Before you go
Open Wednesday to Sunday 13.30–17.00; closed Monday and Tuesday. Public holidays, carnival and the funfair (kermis) have date-specific exceptions. Request group packages at least a week in advance.
